Established in 1996, Police Public Sen. Sec. School, BHAROWAL KALAN is an inspiring community of smart and genuinely nice people from across the country and around the world.
Police Public Sen. Sec. School, Bharowal Kalan was established on 22nd November 1996 by S. Suba Singh, IPS, Director General of Police. From 17th March 1997, 1st to 4th classes were started in the school. Mr. Rajinder Singh, IPS, DGP (Retd.), Baba Bhag Singh Ji (Vice Chairman), Dr. D.R. Bhatti, IPS, DGP.(Retd.) Acting chairman, Mr. Jagdish Kumar Mittal, IPS, IGP,(Law and order) Sh. Major Singh Cheema, Mr.Ashwani Kumar Bhardwaj Advocate, Mr. Deepak Singal(Trustee) and Mohan Lal Jhanji Advocate, and Punjab Police Department started this school with 180 students and 9 teachers.
This School provides education from Nursery to 10+2. The area of
this institution is about 5 Acres. It has 23 teachers and 27 rooms, a huge library with thousands of books, magazines, etc., a Computer Lab, Chemistry Lab, Bio-Lab, Maths Lab, Physics Lab, Gym and sports facilities for students, RO water system provides clean water for drinking, hot case facility, big playground, the school has its own transport facility, well-equipped classrooms with good furniture, the school has all the streams for Senior Secondary classes (Arts, commerce, Medical, Non-Medical). Our school has 550 students at present.
Admissions are open for students. This school is a joint venture of the Police and the Public of the area. Police Public Sen. Sec. School, Bharowal Kalan run by Mr. Rajinder Singh IPS, DGP(Retd.)
Punjab and Dr. D.R. Bhatti, IPS, DGP (Retired) Punjab. In 2008, the
management of this school was handed over to Punjab Police.
Now, this school is run under the Punjab Police DGP, and Mr. D.R. Bhatti, IPS, DGP. (Retd.) Punjab, acting chairman of BABA SPECT. Organized/manage the school, who is living in Ludhiana.
